NEW TRAINER CORPS MEMBER APPLICATION DEADLINE IS THIS FRIDAY, FEB. 6, 2004

New Trainers Needed for NAFSA workshops. Especially for ADSEC and ATESL!

Have you ever served as table moderator or presenter for one of NAFSAs workshops? Would you like to help train new colleagues in the field? Are you able to commit the time to prepare and present a workshop at the regional or national level? NAFSA (and Region XII) is looking for members to join the Trainer Corps. Trainer Corps members serve as organizers, presenters, and chairs for Professional Development Program (PDP) Workshops at the national, regional and local levels. Those selected this year to join the Trainer Corps will first attend Trainer Corps Training at the NAFSA annual conference, and then serve a 3 year renewable term in the Trainer Corps.

DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 6, 2004

TO APPLY:
To apply to be a Trainer Corps member, please review the application criteria for the Professional Section you are interested in, complete the Application Form located at the website above, and submit it to Kelly Moran (Region XII Past-Chair) at kmoran@csuhayward.edu no later than FEBRUARY 6, 2004. Applications are reviewed first at the regional level, and then forwarded to the appropriate sectional team (i.e., CAFSS, ADSEC, etc.). Decisions will be announced in March. While we welcome applications from all professional sections, Region XII is especially in need of more Trainer Corps members for ATESL and ADSEC.
